Launceston to Bicheno

After finally checking out of the hostel (6 nights – I was starting to get cabin fever), I relaxed reading, and eating in Royal park, on the banks of the Tamar, then in the city centre for a while, until it was time to catch my bus to Bicheno at 3:00.
The bus headed south to Campbeltown via Perth, then headed on to Swansea, along a road with many tight bends. The bus driver was apparently fantasising that he was behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, not a minibus, as I was finding myself being thrown around a lot. After picking up some school kids at Swansea, then dropping them off on the way toward Bicheno, we came down the side of a tall hill, from where I could se a rugged range of mountains glowing in the afternoon sun in the distance. I thought it was a shame I couldn't get a photo.

It was nearly sunset when we arrived at Bicheno. I was dropped off at the backpackers, and checked in. Then I went down the road to the main group of shops, and then to the beach to check out the sunset.
After cooking dinner, I went to bed pretty early.
